Ky Kids Eat

The Kentucky Kids Eat campaign is working to address the complex issue of childhood hunger through a statewide cross-sector collaborative that identifies barriers and opportunities to increase access to federal nutrition programs among Kentucky’s children. The Kentucky Association of Food Banks is proud to be leading this effort with support from Share Our Strength and the Charles M. and Mary D. Grant Foundation.

Committee members: The No Kid Hungry KY campaign is guided by representatives from local school districts, the Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy, the Office of the First Lady of Kentucky, the Kentucky Department of Education, the Kentucky Department for Public Health, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, the University of Kentucky, and community organizations including food banks, Community Farm Alliance and Grow Appalachia.
